END OF LIFE PLANNING

Leave Behind Love

It can be a lot to plan for your estate, finances, or future health care. To think about where everything is and where everything will go. To factor in loved ones and contingency plans. To think about what matters most to everyone involved. To decide what you want if you can’t speak for yourself.

Whether you’re getting your affairs in order or helping other people with theirs, I’m here to help you through it.

Marcel Hikers

Dear Sirs,

Those of you who were thinking about joining us but didn’t, you missed a very nice walk. Ron Gaumont, Peter Catherwood, Kirk Stoddart and I walked the Los Gatos Creek from the Pruneyard shopping center all the way to the dam.  A distance of 2.4 miles round trip.  The weather was perfect and I was expecting the usual somewhat crowded trail but I suppose many listen to the weather forecast.

I agree I sweated a bit trying to keep up with my long legged companions.  The highlight of the walk was the sighting of a big salmon swimming upstream probably to lay eggs.  It was at least a foot and a half long or two.

The next hike is technically on the second of January but that’s not a good idea considering it’s very close to New Year’s Eve parties.  I am about ready to review and redo our hiking schedule for 2026.

Please, contact me if you have any suggestions or recommendations.

P.S.  I have attached a hiking schedule for 2025.  Be aware that we can be flexible due to weather reports, requests from you, or conflicts with other events.

Hello mild hikers and neighborhood walkers.  Monday mornings we walk. The walk typically covers 2-3 miles of mild up and down streets.

During the summer we start at 8 AM at SIR Charles (Heck) Hecker’s place on Crisp Ave. just two and a half blocks east of Fruitvale Ave. near West Valley College.

If you’re interested let me know and plan on arriving between 7:45 and 7:55.  We try to leave promptly at 8.

Petanque with Archie

Folks,

Have a healthy, happy, joyous and meaningful New Year filled with love, peace and prosperity.

We had lots of wonderful Petanque games this past year.

It allowed all of us to spend precious time together, learn from each other, share our thoughts, socialize, workout and have a delightful time.

I am canceling the games today due to rain.

Thank you for your continuous support and friendship.

See you next year.

Enjoy lovely time with your friends and family.

All the best 😀.

Archie

Look at professional Petanque games (see YouTube link). It’s beautiful!
